Searching the available PTY
Available PTY search lets you see the list of available PTYs that is in the current ensemble
and select one of them to receive.
Available PTY search function is different from PTY search function. With Pioneer AV Head
Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400), you can operate only the available PTY search.

or to select “AVAILABLE PTY SEARCH” from the DAB TUNER MENU, and
press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.

or to select a program type.
3Press A.MENU (AUDIO) button to begin the search.
The PTY method displayed is narrow. The wide method cannot be selected when using
DAB as the source.
If there is no available PTY in the current ensemble, you cannot switch to the available PTY
search mode.
If no service broadcasting the selected programming type is found, “NOT FOUND” is dis-
played briefly, and the DAB tuner returns to the previous service.
Service component function
If the currently received Service has a Secondary Service Component (“EXTRA” indicator
lights), Service Component switching is possible.

P.CH RECALL/MEMORY Function
You can memorised the desired service and recall the service from the P.CH lists of every 6
services displayed.

for 0.5 seconds or more to select a ensamble.

4Press A.MENU (AUDIO) button for 2 seconds or more to memorize the selected ser-
vice.
Press A.MENU (AUDIO) button for 0.5 of a second to recall the previously memorised
service.
