Problem Remedy
The power does not turn on. Check that the battery has not run out of charge. Connect the AC
adaptor to the unit to charge it.
The battery does not charge. Check that the supplied AC adaptor and USB cable are connected
correctly. Try disconnecting them once and then reconnecting
them.
Check that the surrounding temperature is not outside of the range
in which charging is possible. The unit should be charged in an
environment between 5 °C (41 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F).
Battery charge does not last
very long.
Check that the surrounding temperature is not too low. Battery
operation time will decrease in a low temperature environment.
Check that the battery pack is not at the end of its life. If the time
required to reach a full charge increases substantially, or playing
time falls dramatically even after charging, the battery pack is at
the end of its life. It can be charged approximately 500 times before
required replacement. This number may decrease depending on
how it is used and how it is stored. If you wish to replace the battery
pack with a new one, please contact your nearest Pioneer
authorized service center.
