Dolby Digital Out
You only need to make this setting if you connected this
recorder to an AV amp/receiver (or other component) using
the digital output.

Important

with a non-DTS compatible amp/
receiver, noise will be output when you play a DTS
disc.

, there is no analog audio output
when playing a DTS DVD-Video disc.
When playing a DTS audio CD (even when
DTS Out

), noise is output from the analog outputs.
Do
not play this through your amplifier and speakers.
When playing a DTS audio CD, make sure that
Stereo
is selected using the
AUDIO
button. See
Switching audio channels
on page 41.
