Searching for a program type

You can search for a station that is broadcasting any

program type from the list on page 54.

1 Select FM with the TUNER FM/AM but-

ton.

2 Press SYSTEM DISP repeatedly until PTY

SEARCH appears in the display.

3 Use the 4 and ¢ buttons to choose a

program type, then press SYSTEM DISP.

AFFAIRS

You can search for any of the program types listed on

page 54.

After pressing

SYSTEM DISP, the system starts

searching through the station presets for a match. When

it finds one, the search stops and the station plays for 5

seconds.

The display shows the preset station number, the

frequency, then the program type.

4 If you want to keep listening to the sta-

tion, press SYSTEM DISP within the 5

seconds.

If you don't press

SYSTEM DISP, searching resumes.

SYSTEM DISP, l’appareil démarre

la recherche d’une correspondance à travers les stations

préréglées. Lorsqu’il en trouve une, la recherche s’arrête

et la station est reçue pendant 5 secondes.

L’affichage montre le numéro de la station préréglée, la

fréquence, puis le type de programme.

4 Si vous souhaitez écouter la station,

appuyez sur SYSTEM DISP dans les 5

secondes.

Si vous n’appuyez pas sur

SYSTEM DISP, la recherche

reprend.
