Troubleshooting
Incorrect operation is often mistaken for trouble or
malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong
with this component, check the points below. Sometimes
the trouble may lie in another component. Inspect the
other components and electrical appliances being used.
If the trouble cannot be rectified after checking the
items below, ask your nearest Pioneer authorized service
center or your dealer to carry out repair work.
Amplifier fault finding
If there is an internal fault in the amplifier, the power is
automatically shut off without the display showing the
usual “Goodbye” message. The standby indicator
blinks and none of the controls work, including the
power button.
Please contact your nearest Pioneer Service Center.
Optional component fault finding
If there is an internal fault in an optional component,
the power is automatically shut off without the display
showing the usual “Goodbye” message and the
timer indicator blinks. The DVD/CD Tuner switches on
and operates normally, but when the optional
component is switched on the message
OPTION
ERROR appears in the display.
Please contact your nearest Pioneer Service Center.
DVD fault finding
If there is an internal fault in the DVD player, the display
shows
DVD 3.3 ERROR then the power is automati-
cally shut off. If, when you switch the unit back on,
everything works normally then you can continue to use
it. If the error persists, please contact your nearest
Pioneer Service Center.
Guide de dépannage
Vous pouvez confondre une utilisation incorrecte avec
un mauvais fonctionnement. Si vous pensez qu’il y a un

ci-dessous, consultez le service Pioneer autorisé le plus
près de chez vous pour faire les réparations.
Pour trouver une anomalie au niveau
de l’amplificateur
S’il y a une anomalie interne au niveau de
l’amplificateur, l’appareil s’éteint automatiquement
sans afficher l’habituel message “ Goodbye ”.
L’indicateur de veille clignote et aucune des commandes
ne fonctionnent, y compris la touche de mise en
marche.
Veuillez contacter le service après-vente Pionner le plus
proche.
Pour trouver une anomalie au niveau
d’un composant optionnel
S’il y a une anomalie interne au niveau d’un
composant optionnel, l’appareil s’éteint
automatiquement sans afficher l’habituel message
“ Goodbye ” et l’indicateur de la minuterie clignote.
Le lecteur DVD/CD avec tuner s’active et fonctionne
normalement, mais en allumant le composant
optionnel le message
OPTION ERROR apparaît sur
l’affichage.
Veuillez contacter le service après-vente Pionner le plus
proche.
Pour trouver une anomalie au niveau
du lecteur DVD
S’il y a une anomalie interne au niveau du lecteur DVD,
l’affichage indique
DVD 3.3 ERROR puis l’appareil
s’éteint automatiquement. Si, en rallumant l’appareil,
tout fonctionne normalement vous pouvez donc
continuer à l’utiliser. Si l’erreur persiste, veuillez
contacter votre service après-vente Pioneer le plus
proche.
