Setting an equalizer level high can cause dis-
tortion. If high sound is crippled or distorted,
try switching to LOW. Normally, leave the set-
ting at HIGH to ensure quality sound.
1 Press FUNCTION to select D.ATT.
2 Press c or d to select LOW or HIGH.
Resetting the audio functions
Only when the multi-channel processor (e.g.,
DEQ-P6600) is connected to this unit, you can
operate this function.
You can reset audio functions other than the
following settings.
! Volume setting (refer to Adjusting the vo-
lume on page 15)
! Listening position setting (refer to Using
the position selector on page 70)
! Fader/balance setting (refer to Using bal-
ance adjustment on page 69)
! SLA (source level adjustment) setting (refer
to Adjusting source levels on page 72)
! Dynamic range control (refer to Using the
dynamic range control on page 71)
! Direct control setting (refer to Using the di-
rect control on page 72)
! Down-mix setting (refer to Using the down-
mix function on page 71)
1 Press FUNCTION to select A.RESET.
2 Press a to display RESETOK?.
# To cancel resetting the audio functions, press
BAND.
3 Press d to display REALLY?.
# To cancel resetting the audio functions, press
BAND.
4 Press a to reset audio functions.
COMPLETE appears in the display.
Other Functions
Setting the level indicator
Level indicators can be changed. Style of the
level indicator differs depending on the
source.
% Press EQ and hold to select the level in-
dicator.
Press EQ and hold repea tedly to switch be-
tween the following settings:
iPod
Progress baroff Level indicator 1Level in-
dicator 2Entertainment
Sources other than iPod
Level indicator 1Level indicator 2Enter-
tainmentoff
Notes
! When selecting iPod as a source, the progress
bar is displayed as a default setting. When
sources other than iPod is selected, the level
indicator is displayed as a default setting.
! When the source is changed from iPod, the
progress bar will be changed to the level in-
dicator 1. And then, if the source is changed
to iPod again, the progress bar is displayed.
However, if the level indicator has been chan-
ged, the selected level indicator will be dis-
played even if the source is changed to iPod
again.
! When Entertainment, Level indicator 1 or
Level indicator 2 is selected on the iPod
source, the selected level indicator will be dis-
played even if the source is changed.
! When the optical inputs 1 and 2 on DEQ-
P6600 are occupied and AUX is connected to
this unit, the level indicators may be incor-
rectly displayed.
