PRV-9000 Operating Instructions
The PRV-9000 display provides settings information.
1 - Play/Record indicator
- Outer (white) ring denotes the playback speed and direction
- Inner (red) ring denotes elapsed playback/recording time
Note: When loading a VR mode disc, the RW indicator in the center lights up.
2 - DVD / CD / VCD / RW / R indicator
Reveals the loaded disc’s type
3 - 2 3
Indicates the remote control mode
Note: If nothing is displayed then the mode is 1 (default)
4 - FINALIZE
Lights when a finalized disc is loaded
5 - RESERVED
Lights when a disc with a timer program is loaded
6 - LOCK
Lights when the content lock/parental control is active
7 - PLAYLIST
Lights when a VR mode disc is loaded (system must be in Playlist mode)
8 - Audio Level indicators
Monitors the audio level during playback and the audio input level during recording
9 - Status Bar
- MN – manual rate recording level
- TITLE – current title number playing from the DVD disc
- TRACK – current track number of the playing CD or Video CD
- CHP – current chapter number playing from the DVD disc
- ANGLE – lights when a multi-angle scene is available on the playing DVD disc
- TOTAL – displays the total playing time for the currently loaded disc
- REMAIN – displays the recording time available on the currently loaded disc
- SAP – lights when the selected broadcast provides Secondary Audio Program (SAP)
- STEREO – lights when the incoming TV audio signal is in stereo
- L R – indicates which channels are recorded/ played back when in Dual Mono mode
(see Chapter 9:INITIAL SETUP MENU section 9.1.5 Audio In Settings)
